Perry Interactive Media, Inc. (or “PIM”) respects and is committed to protecting your privacy as a visitor or user of its website, www.TeamItUp.com (“TeamItUp.com” or the “Site”). That is why we have adopted this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy lets you know how your personal information is processed and used. We promise that we will take steps to use your personal information only in ways that are compatible with this Privacy Policy. The following policies are only in effect for the Site, and the services and discussion forums owned and operated by PIM. The following discloses our Privacy Policy.

INFORMATION PROVIDED BY VISITORS AND REGISTRANTS

About TeamItUp.com

TeamItUp.com is an online service that allows our members to set up unique personal profiles that can be linked together through networks of athletes, coaches, family, friends, and fans. TeamItUp.com members can view each others' profiles, communicate with other members and meet new users on the service, share photos, post journals and comments, and describe their interests. We request and display some personal information to other members and visitors, which allows our users to identify each other and expand their network of athletes, coaches, family, friends, and fans. TeamItUp.com members can change their profile information at any time and can control how other members and the service communicates with them.

Visitor Private Personal Information and Use by TeamItUp.com

TeamItUp.com collects user submitted information such as name, email address, and age to authenticate users and to send notifications to those users relating to the TeamItUp.com service. TeamItUp.com also collects other profile data including but not limited to: personal interests, gender, age, education and occupation in order to assist users in finding and communicating with each other.

TeamItUp.com also logs non-personally-identifiable information including IP address, profile information, aggregate user data, and browser type, from users and visitors to the site. This data is used to manage the website, track usage and improve the website services. This non-personally-identifiable information may be shared with third-parties to provide more relevant services and advertisements to members. User IP addresses are recorded for security and monitoring purposes

User Profile information including members' pictures and first names are displayed to people in order to facilitate user interaction in the TeamItUp.com social networking community. Email addresses are used for the purposes of inviting new friends to join TeamItUp.com, to add users to members' friends' networks, and to send notifications related to the service. With the exception of inviting friends, adding friends, and notifications, a user's email address is not shared or displayed to people within a user's personal network Users within a personal network communicate on TeamItUp.com with each other through the TeamItUp.com service, without disclosing their email addresses. Users' full names are never directly revealed to other members. To facilitate searching and finding friends and acquaintances on the service, TeamItUp.com allows users to search for other members using first and last name, email address, and schools where users may have attended or are attending.

WE ARE COMMITTED TO SAFEGUARDING PRIVATE PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED ONLINE. WE DO NOT SHARE YOUR PRIVATE PERSONAL INFORMATION WITH THIRD PARTIES WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT.

Certain Services are available only to visitors who register. Registrants may be asked to provide their name, postal address, ZIP Code, e-mail address, birth date, gender, telephone number, etc. (collectively referred to as "Registration Information") and to verify the age and authority of the individual seeking to use the Site Services. TeamItUp.com also uses Registration Information to facilitate participation in the Site, and to communicate with our registrants about programs, events, products or services about which they might be interested.

WE ARE COMMITTED TO SAFEGUARDING REGISTRATION INFORMATION COLLECTED ONLINE. WE DO NOT SHARE YOUR REGISTRATION INFORMATION WITH THIRD PARTIES WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT.

Registrants are issued passwords upon registration, allowing information to be input in a secured area. Registrants are able to upload, post, transmit or input information for posting on the Site, including, but in no way limited to, information about themselves, their team, school, organization or camp (“Content”).

When you use TeamItUp.com's Services designed to post, upload or transmit Content, the Content is stored in our servers for varying periods of time and is associated with the Registration Information for your account. TeamItUp.com will not use or disclose such Content except as described in this Privacy Policy. Moreover, when you register for a Service within the Site, that information is collected and maintained solely by TeamItUp.com unless specifically stated otherwise at the point of collection. If data is collected and/or maintained by any company other than TeamItUp.com, we will tell you at the point of collection. If you do not want to share your Registration Information with that company, you can choose not to use that service.

Be aware that TeamItUp.com sponsors and other advertisers have links on the Site that take you to external sites. Some of these sites may collect private personal information from you. Third-party advertising networks may use cookies in their advertisements to collect certain information from you. While TeamItUp.com hopes that all third-parties involved adhere to our policies regarding the privacy of our users, the TeamItUp.com Privacy Policy does not cover third-party data collection practices. TeamItUp.com does not assume any responsibility for any actions of third-parties.

Invitations and Other Communications to Non-members

TeamItUp.com members can invite friends to join the service by sending invitation emails via our automated invitation system. TeamItUp.com stores the email addresses that members provide so that the respondents may be added to the friend's list of the member sending the invitations, and also to send reminders of the invitations TeamItUp.com does not sell these email addresses or use them to send any other communication besides invitations, invitation reminders (up to three (3) per email address). Recipients of invitations from TeamItUp.com may contact TeamItUp.com to request the removal of their information from our database.

TeamItUp.com members may also store email addresses of people they know in their internal TeamItUp.com address book and may also choose to send invitations and other communications to those addresses.

You may prevent TeamItUp.com email invitations and other messages from being sent to any email address you control by sending a single email with the subject "BLOCK" to privacy@TeamItUp.com Please note that the email must come from the account you wish to block.

Cookies and Third Party Advertising

Ads appearing on TeamItUp.com may be delivered to users by TeamItUp.com or one of our Web Site advertising partners. From time to time, TeamItUp.com or its advertisers may send a "cookie" to your computer. A cookie is a small piece of data that is sent to your Internet browser from a Web server and stored on your computer's hard drive. A cookie can't read data off of your computer hard disk or read cookie files created by other Web sites. Cookies do not damage your system. TeamItUp.com may contain links to other web sites. TeamItUp.com is not responsible for the privacy policies and/or practices on other web sites. When linking to another site a user should read the privacy policy stated on that web site. Our privacy policy only governs information collected on TeamItUp.com.

Chat Rooms, Journals and WebLogs, Message Boards and Public Forums

Please be aware that whenever you voluntarily post public information to Journals, WebLogs, Message Boards or any other Public Forums that that information can be accessed by the public and can in turn be used by those people to send you unsolicited communications.

Correcting/Updating or Removing Information

TeamItUp.com users may modify or remove any of their personal information at any time by logging into their account and accessing features such as Edit Profile and Account Info.

Security

TeamItUp.com member accounts are secured by member-created passwords TeamItUp.com takes precautions to insure that member account information is kept private. We use reasonable measures to protect member information that is stored within our database, and we restrict access to member information to those employees who need access to perform their job functions, such as our customer service personnel and technical staff. Please note that we cannot guarantee the security of member account information. Use of Single-pixel gifs

TeamItUp.com and its advertisers may use single-pixel gif images, sometimes referred to as web bugs or web beacons, to count Web page accesses and gather some general statistical information. TeamItUp.com does not gather personal information through the use of these images. Our advertisers may use single-pixel gifs that can track personal information from cookies that may have been previously placed on a user's computer by an advertiser.

Sharing and Disclosure of Information TeamItUp.com Collects

TeamItUp.com will disclose personal information and/or an IP address, when required by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to:

Changes in Our Privacy Policy

From time to time we may make changes to our privacy policy. If we make changes, we will post them on our site to make users aware of what the changes are so users will always be aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and when we may disclose it. A User is bound by any minor changes to the policy when she or he uses the site after those changes have been posted If, however, we are going to use users’ personally identifiable information in a manner materially different from that stated at the time of collection we will notify by posting a notice on our Web site for thirty (30) days.

Privacy Policy for Children under 13

TeamItUp.com is a family oriented site and contains content which we deem suitable for all members of the family. However, certain sections and features of TeamItUp.com are open to many members, and posts can be in violation of our Forum Policy contained in our Terms of Service. We make our best efforts to delete offensive posts but cannot always do so in a timely fashion. On the other hand, we cannot censure posts simply because they could be construed as inappropriate to children. Therefore, parents should evaluate the forums and decide whether to permit children to visit. TeamItUp.com is not intended for use by children, especially those under age 13. No one under age 13 is allowed to provide any personal information or use our public discussion areas, forums and chats. Minors between the ages of 13 and 17 must get the permission of their parent(s) or legal guardian(s) before making purchases, including subscriptions, on this site.

If your children disclose information about themselves in our public discussion areas, they may get unsolicited messages from other parties. Accordingly, you should tell them not to do so. Forums

Any information you disclose when posting a message becomes public. Your e-mail address is hidden unless you elect to disclose it at the time of posting. We do not share this address with anyone unless you have libeled someone or violated a law.

Governing Law

This policy and the use of TeamItUp.com are governed by New York law. Any claim related to TeamItUp.com or this policy shall be brought in a federal or state court in New York, New York, within one year after the claim arises. You agree no such claim may be brought as a class action. Users of TeamItUp.com consent to the jurisdiction and venue of such court as the most convenient and appropriate for the resolution of disputes concerning this policy. TeamItUp.com is controlled, operated and administered entirely within the United States. If you are located outside the United States, please note the information you provide to us will be transferred to the United States. You hereby consent to this transfer.

Request(s) for Private Information

Although TeamItUp.com is not responsible -- legally or otherwise -- for the posts on our message boards or streams (please refer to our Terms of Service ) we do make an effort to monitor them effectively, and we will be happy to delete messages upon request, if we feel they may be inappropriate or harmful in any way to the purpose of the boards or to our Site in general. However, the following situations may lead to a need for you or your legal counsel to require registration information for a TeamItUp.com user in order to pursue further legal action against that user:

  • Libelous/slanderous message board posts
  • Personal threats/fear of bodily harm
  • Unauthorized publication of addresses, phone numbers, etc. (unlisted or not freely available)
  • Other actions requiring legal action to cease and desist or recovery of damages

In any of the above events, and/or if you or your counsel feel you have a legal basis on which you could subpoena TeamItUp.com for release of personal information for one or more of TeamItUp.com’s registered users, please contact us at info@TeamItUp.com

By using this Site, you consent to the collection and use of information by TeamItUp.com as specified above. As stated above, we reserve the right to modify this policy.
